The below are the terms and conditions we ask all clients to agree to upon completing their registration form. If you have any questions or concerns about the below this can be addressed at your initial consultation (whether in person or over the phone).
General
- All dogs must be fully vaccinated and on a regular flea and worm control regime. Flea and worm control can be offered by Paws4Playtime upon request for an additional charge.
- At Paws4Playtime, we don’t discriminate against any breed and welcome XL Bully dogs into our groups. All XL Bully breeds will be walked in accordance with the new government guidelines.
- The supervisor will apply personal judgment and cut short a session, if necessary, because of extreme weather conditions (i.e., heat, thunderstorms, freezing temperatures) for the safety of both the dogs and the supervisor.
Booking
- Paws4Playtime will not confirm any booking until a consultation has been carried out with the client and the registration form, with full details of client requirements, has been signed by the client.
- All clients will be deemed to have accepted Paws4Playtime terms and conditions (as laid out here) by using any services provided by Paws4Playtime.
- Bookings are now done on a block schedule format. Clients will pay to reserve their desired space for the month, with payment in advance.
Cancellation
- In the event of cancellations by Paws4Playtime staff, clients will receive a session credit or full refund for that booking.
- Sessions cancelled due to extreme weather conditions are not valid for a session credit/refund as this is deemed “an act of god”.
- Sessions cancelled by clients due to holiday or absence will not be valid for a session credit/refund as we work on a block schedule format.
Payment
- Price per session, per dog, is £25.00 as of the date receiving this document (prices may change in future due to inflation and or other circumstances).
- Full payment for services (agreed either at time of booking or subsequently) is to be made by the date specified on the invoice via bank transfer. If payment is not made within this time 2.5% of the total bill can be added for each day that payment is overdue.
- Payment for the month block will be due in advance to the bookings occurring.
Confidentiality Agreement
- The client and Paws4Playtime agree that any arrangements in regards to payment and subsequent unique discounts provided and its terms are strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any person, firm, corporation, or other entity, orally or in writing, except as may be necessary to comply with applicable laws and regulations, court orders or other process of law, confer with a financial advisor, tax preparer, or lawyer regarding the subject matter of this agreement, or to enforce this agreement.
Keys
- If it is necessary for keys to be picked up or dropped off in order to complete a booking, the client is to provide a copy of the key to be held by a Paws4Playtime employee(s).
- Paws4Playtime will make adequate steps to ensure your home is properly secure and locked following pick up and drop off of your pet. However, Paws4Playtime cannot take any responsibility for any burglaries, or any accidents caused by your pet(s).
- Upon cancellation of services, your key will be returned at a time convenient for both parties.
Risk Play
- It is understood that dogs in an open setting, regardless of human interaction and supervision, will encounter other dogs during play or when attempting to assert dominance over each other, this is a normal behaviour for dogs in group settings.
- Toys and equipment are available, and it is acknowledged that conflict can occur when a dog is in possession of those toys or equipment. This will be monitored and addressed at the best of the supervisor’s ability.
- By allowing your dog to partake in the sessions, you acknowledge and accept the risk, that having dogs in a group setting, may result in injury to your canine and that Paws4Playtime and their employees cannot be held responsible for any injuries.
Environment
- Paws4Playtime supervisors will take a walk round the grounds, before a session starts in an attempt to clear any undesirable litter or items that are in the areas. It is understood that the arenas are not fully enclosed and are open to the environment. Though secured by fences and gates, litter, fauna and other materials may enter the grounds. By allowing your dog to partake in the sessions you acknowledge and accept the risk, that injury or illness may occur to your canine, due to undesirable material or fauna being in the grounds.
Insurance/Liability
- Paws4Playtime holds valid public liability insurance.
- Although Paws4Playtime holds Public Liability insurance, wherever possible pets should be insured by the client. Paws4Playtime reserves the right to refuse a booking for any animal which is not insured.
- The client is responsible for any veterinary bills, no matter how they are incurred, whilst pets are in the care of Paws4Playtime.
- The client must provide Paws4Playtime with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the pet(s) in an emergency. If the contact is not available Paws4Playtime reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal. Paws4Playtime will not be responsible for any financial bills incurred.
- Paws4Playtime must be alerted to any behavioural problems with their pets at the time of booking (as noted on the registration form). Failure to do so may result in additional charges or cancellation of any future contract.
- Paw4Playtime reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time & with immediate effect if the dog in question displays any aggressive or detrimental behaviour to the supervisor, group dogs, and/or the public. Any behaviour concerns must be discussed in the initial consultation with Paws4Playtime.
- Paws4Playtime offer services where dogs co-mingle in groups and the Client accepts that during the course of normal dog interactions their dog may sustain injuries. All dog play is carefully monitored to avoid as much as reasonably possible, though injuries may occur despite the best supervision.
Privacy Policy
- All of your information provided to Paws4Playtime will be kept private and confidential.
- Paws4Playtime highly respects our clients’ entrusting us with the care of their pets and keys (if applicable).
- All of our records will be stored in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
COVID Policy
- While government guidelines have changed, we will maintain COVID precautionary procedures to protect all our clients.
- Clients who have a positive COVID test (this includes anyone in the household) must inform the Paws4Playtime team.
- The Client’s household must have TWO negative tests prior to Paws4Playtime being able to resume the scheduled session.
